Acer Computer has completed the delivery of their Notebook computers for Sydney Region schools that ordered them in 2008. A total of 285 Acer notbooks were delivered for our Region.

IMPORTANT NOTE! If you are setting up these notebooks yourself, please follow these important rules:

1. Make sure the notebooks are FULLY CHARGED before you turn them on
2. Make sure you plug them into a working network port before you turn them on.

DO NOT take these notebooks home to set them up. The SOE configuration requires DET Network Cannection to run through correctly. If you would like any assistance with setting up the notebooks, please log a Service Desk call on 1800 338 483 to request installation assistance by Sydney Region School Support staff.
