These courses assist teachers to apply ICT in the classroom to meet syllabus outcomes and will provide teachers with hands on experience in:
applying email to learning experiences
utilising TaLE and other online resources
Courses will be open to all teachers with an interest in developing their ICT skills. New Scheme teachers will receive formal accreditation for the Institute of Teachers professional development requirements upon successful completion of the course.

Principals Network Information
Principals Network Information (PNI) will soon be available through the DET Portal to assist principals in managing the use of their schools available bandwidth. This service is scheduled for release in Week 4 Term 2, provided there are no issues identified during the test process.
Principal training is scheduled to commence from Week 4, Term 2.
The release of PNI will be formally announced in the InPrincipal publication and a policy for the acceptable use of the service will be made available on the Departments internet site.

My email User display name change
Users display name in the My email Global Address List (GAL) now appears in Surname, Firstname order in line with DET corporate email.
Search results within the My email GAL will present names in this way.
The method to search for a user within the GAL is unchanged.
