SR Schools IT Support Pageflakes Site |
Written by Stuart Hasic

"What's a Pageflakes site", you ask? A bit hard to describe, but basically, there's a nice new link in the Main Menu to the left that says "SR Pageflakes" and when you click on it, you end up at a customisable aggregator site. OK, you're even more confused I bet. We've put together a site that has always updated feeds from several useful websites that provide general news, ICT news and ICT in education news and podcasts. You can go to our pageflakes site everyday and there will always be something new to look at, read and even listen to. What are you waiting for? Click on SR Pageflakes in the main menu! |

OASIS Library Circulation Barcodes Card |
Written by Stuart Hasic

When OASIS first came into our school libraries, a card was provided that most teacher librarians stuck to their circulation desk and use with their barcode readers to allow for quick shortcuts while using OASIS. The problem is, most schools have lost that original card, they're working from a tatty photocopy and sometime the barcode reader struggles to read those shortcuts. Sydney Region decided to do something about it by creating an updated Library Circulation Control Card that you can print to a laser printer for crisp and clear new barcode shortcuts. It's great when you have more than one Circulation desk, such as in Teacher Resource rooms etc. Get your free New Library Circulation Control Card here. |

This is not normal and is related to security levels usually in Internet Explorer. There are two ways to fix it, but this is probably the easiest way...
